New Karate Monkey

The Karate Monkey has been around a long time, some say it was the first 29er to hit mass production. Whatever, it certainly helped the popularity of the movement. We've seen gears come and go, some tweeks to braze-ons and tubes to make the frame lighter and even 'swop-out' MDS dropouts.

The New Karate Monkey takes lessons learnt from the Surly-esque fascination with playing around and fitting different wheel sizes to the same frame. This same frame will play all day on a 27.5+ 3" tyres - great for traction and flotation and then when you want to stretch your legs some 29 x 2.5 will fit in there just grand.

There's a little tweek to geometry for a more modern, progressive trail bike feel.

More manipulated tubing and an internal dropper post port too. You can run anything from a 'standard' 135 x 10 rear wheel through to a 12 x 148 Boost via 12 x 142 too.

All hail the Gnot Boost rear end.

£700 frame and fork, variable dates from now-ish to June depending on colour & size, ring us!
