We’ve taken a ‘standard’ black-ish ( we’d probably call it gunmetal but Salsa call it black (?) frameset and totally transformed it. A pair of Hope Pro5 wheels to start with a mostly a Shimano SLX groupset. This is the new 2025 frame so has flat mount brakes for ease of using a modern gravel groupset. A Salsa Alternator rack takes care of the load carrying and SKS clip on guards keep the worst off.
