Brohloff! Super bikepacking and exploration ATB…

A stunning Brother Cycles Large Big Bro complete with a 14 speed internal hub gear Rohloff Speedhub with the optional V2 replacement sliding dropouts. These are the Rohloff dropouts for the 2026 onwards re-designed frames, same as the first V1 different and still allow the use of a 135mm spaced original Rohloff Speedhub.

Customer had a bit of a hesitation moment deciding what to connect to the dynamo they wanted, so we went ahead and built up the front wheel with the SON 28 110 x 15 front hub anyway – decision made, moved forward!

27.5 x 2.8 Schwalbe G-One tyres on Hope Fortus 27.5 rims. We’ve found at the right pressure these are a great all round rough stuff bikepacking tyre.

More Hope Tech all over the place! Surly stainless ring on those Middleburn RS8 cranks, for longevity really, once one side of the teeth on both this ring and the Rohloff cog are worn they can both be reversed and worn out on that side too!
