We were lucky to be offered one of the initial batch of titanium Sunliner samples earlier in the year and have now been able to build it up ready for some trails. I’m 5’7’ and the fit as you see it here is sweet.

Most of these parts had already been on our steel Sunliner so we did swap these over before selling on the frame, did love it though so we have high hopes for the titanium version. The brakes were new though to replace some older SRAM mechanical BB7s.

Equipped with a SRAM Eagle AXS groupset with a 10-52 cassette and the new Hope Evo brakes with 180mm floating rotors. 80mm Thomson stem holds tight onto the 840mm 30 degree Persuader bars with Teravail Lytho grips, to match that blue steel fork and they’re super comfy.

Tumbleweed T rack up front supporting the Old Man Mountain Basket and Wizard Works Alakazam bag, so useful for trail accessories and easy access!

Now this frame is mostly optimised for 29 x 2.6” tyres and up to 29 x 3.0” but we love 27.5” wheels so have some 2.8” WTB Rangers on the Velocity Blunt 35 rims.

CaneCreek eeWing cranks have been great for us and match up great with this frame, we fitted a 34t Absolute Black chainring. We’re trying some MKS Always pedals for a change from spd’s and a Hope 30mm bottom bracket, we’ve found these last years with very little maintainance. Same goes for the headset.

Exposure lights have just released the Revo5 so we’ve hooked one of those up to the SP dynamo front boost hub for lighting and charging, we’ve found it very good for both.

We’re using our old favourite Brooks B68 saddle on top of a standard Omnium post we had kicking around, may go for a dropper at some point, not needed with this saddle for now.
